About Clara
I'm a college student working towards licensure as a Spanish teacher. I've tutored other Spanish students since my second year learning and helped get their grades in the class up and understand the topics better, and any experience teaching is appreciated! I am certified bilingual as of June of 2020, and I've also done study experience in Madrid with native speakers.

Because language is so focused on practical application (what's the point of learning a language if you can't use it?) that's what my lessons are focused on. We will go over theories and structures, yes, but the main focus will be practice with Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening skills. I'm also a big believer in individualized approaches, both for the topic and for the student. I will work with you where you're at, in the way that works best for you for each subject area!

rates are negotiable based on need, if you need a more affordable rate for whatever reason, please just ask, we can figure something out! If you need to cancel a session I would prefer 24 hour notice, but as long as I know before the time a lesson would start, I won't charge!
