About Stevie
I am a UCR Bio student, who has taught at least 32 students in various courses, including Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Neuroscience for about 2 years. Many students thank me for helping them obtain "A's," appreciating the time I took to help them understand complicated subjects.
While I am a Biology student, I have experience in Biochemistry and Neuroscience. I breathe Biochemistry (BCH), due to the variety of upper division BCH courses I have taken and the experience in my BCH research lab. I've also taken intro to Neuroscience, and a Neuroscience course, which heavily involved physics and electrophysiology.
You are my priority. I am diligent, and I will answer your questions to the best of my abilities. If the questions are beyond my scope, do not worry, you won't be charged for it. I will try my best to connect you with tutors hopefully able to answer your questions. Again, you are my priority.

I can give lessons to undergraduate students and below. The following is a general outline.
If you need help on a lecture, or book chapter:
1. Review lecture/chapter. Isolate what you do and do NOT understand. Write questions down (This will give you more bang for your buck). Of course, I can still try to reteach your lecture, if needed.
2. Send me your lecture slide (if possible), so I can preview it and understand what your requirements are.
3. Ask. Don't be shy. I won't bite. I want to help you :)
4. Reiterate what I say after I explain something. (In plain, simple, English). Take notes.
5. When session's over, rehearse notes and/or add onto them.
I cannot guarantee an "A" in your class. If you do your best, ask questions (to me, Professor, TA's, etc.), and don't give up, you can have a better outcome.
