About Ashley

Hi! I’m Ashley — a science tutor who’s passionate about helping students feel confident and capable in subjects that often feel overwhelming. My own education journey has shaped the way I teach. I was online-schooled from 7th grade through high school and struggled with memorization-heavy courses, especially chemistry. Later, in college, I worked my way to a 4.0 GPA and discovered that biology and chemistry weren’t just requirements for me—they became genuine passions. Because I’ve experienced both academic challenges and academic success, I understand what it feels like to be confused, anxious, or unsure where to start. That’s exactly why I tutor: to make science clear, visual, and intuitive for students who want explanations that actually make sense. I’m currently pursuing a degree in **Cell and Molecular Biology** with the long-term goal of becoming a physician. Along the way, I’ve developed a strong foundation in general biology, microbiology, anatomy, physiology, and chemistry—knowledge I love breaking down into simple, relatable steps for my students. A Typical Lesson With Me

3. Concept Breakdown (15–20 minutes)

4. Guided Practice (15 minutes)

5. Active Recall Review (5 minutes)
