About Malak

As much as I like to have a fun, when it comes to serious work, I separate the two and put my full focus into what it is that I am doing. I was not always like that and it took many years for me to reach that level but it was worth it in the end because I acquired many skills along the way. Additionally, I can understand how sometimes education feels like more of a chore than a learning experience and I know that it is hard to get over it. However, that is my goal. I want your education to be an experience rather than a draining task and if I did it, then I am sure that you are capable to do so as well.

Having completed my CEGEP and soon starting my undergraduate degree at McGill, I believe that I have great knowledge of the english language and I am fully capable of teaching it with ease. The latter will aid in creating a comfortable and engaging atmosphere for you.

About the lesson

I believe that every person deserves the chance to receive help in order to reach their goals and/or full potential. Knowledge is a powerful tool and a gift that should be treated as such.

For that reason, I make sure to offer the best tutoring service of which I am capable. Ideally, the lessons would be suited for elementary students with a good knowledge of the english language but who still face certain obstacles.

A typical lesson would go as following: engaging and educational english game to both loosen the nerves and introduce the material, review from last lesson, (correction of homework if any), new lesson, application exercises and we finish with a summary and the explanation of the next homework.

I, myself used to struggle with staying engaged in my classes because the all followed the same monotone plan. Therefore, I believe that switching up between various techniques and methods would be very beneficial, specifically since individuals do not necessarily all grasp information in the same way.
