About Briti
Hello! I'm Briti Mukherjee, and I'm passionate about helping young learners discover the joy of education. As a primary school teacher at Blooming Buds Public School and an experienced private tutor, I've found my true calling in making learning engaging, accessible, and fun for every child.
My Journey:
I graduated from Nabadwip Vidyasagar College with a degree in the arts, and since 2023, I've been dedicated to working with children both in classroom and one-on-one settings. What started as a passion for teaching has evolved into a mission: to help every child feel confident, curious, and capable.
My Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that every child learns differently, and that's beautiful! I don't follow a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I:
Listen to each child's unique learning style and adapt my methods
Make complex concepts simple through hands-on, interactive activities
Use play-based learning and real-life examples to keep lessons engaging
Focus on building confidence alongside academic skills
Prioritize social-emotional development: kindness, empathy, communication
Why I Love Teaching:
The moment a struggling child finally understands a concept and their face lights up—that's why I do this. It's not just about teaching subjects; it's about helping children become confident individuals who love learning. I work closely with parents, keeping them updated on progress and celebrating every milestone together.
Outside the Classroom:
When I'm not teaching, you'll find me with a book, exploring new places, or practicing classical music and Rabindrasangeet. I'm also a Taekwondo enthusiast (state-level gold medalist!), which taught me the importance of discipline, focus, and perseverance—values I bring to my teaching.
Languages:
I'm fluent in Bengali (my mother tongue), English, and Hindi, which helps me connect with diverse families and explain concepts in the way students understand best.

Join me for an exciting journey into the world of English! This class is designed for young learners (Grades 1-2) who are just beginning their reading and writing adventure. We'll work together on letter recognition, phonics, simple sentences, and basic vocabulary through fun, interactive activities. I use storytelling, games, flashcards, and hands-on exercises to make learning engaging and stress-free.
