About Sandra
My name is Sandra. I was born and raised in Italy, although I have studied English my whole life. I took my first Oxford Test of English when I was five years old and kept improving my level until my last year of high school, when I finally took the IELTS. My grandparents being Canadian helped me learn English faster and properly as they would speak to me and my brother solely in English. In 2016 I lived in the United States for a year as an exchange student. That year, my English improved quickly and greatly as I had no other choice but to speak it. I was only 15 years old, and my young age helped me absorb the language and pronunciation more easily. After high school I moved to Toronto for university, so now here I am! I have been living in Toronto for the past three years studying Global Health. Any time there is a chance, I help my friends back in Italy prepare for their english exams, and I help my little cousins with their english homework as well. :)
