About Yanli
I am a friendly and caring person, and patient enough when teaching somebody with something. Kind and calm manner make me easy to be communicated. I speaks standard mandarin. I am actually teaching my grand daughter with mandarin at moment. It is my pleasure to teach the people who is keen to learn Chinese.

I got PhD in biochemistry in 2000. I had been a research scientist in AgResearch Ltd from May 2001 to June 2016. I finished the job there due to changing research direction by government. I would like turn my life to something different, which contributes to the society directly.
I have more than twenty years of research experience and about six years of teaching experience in a university. Therefore I have solid knowledge of teaching, and I have experience of training students, technicians when I worked in AgResearch. I love and enjoy working with young people and always communicated well with them.
