About Mohsin

Hi, I’m Mohsin or you can call me Mo. I’m currently studying a Master of Optometry in Cambridge, but my journey wasn’t always smooth. To be honest, I wasn’t the smartest kid in class for a long time, I saw school as a waste of time and struggled to find motivation. Everything changed around my GCSEs when I realised I needed to take control. Without any tutors or extra help, I taught myself how to study from scratch. I learned how to focus, how to revise smartly, and how to build habits that stick. Those skills didn’t just help me pass exams; they’ve helped me thrive at university and in life. Now, I want to share that with you. I know what it’s like to struggle and feel lost — and I know how much difference it makes when someone breaks things down clearly, shows you how to think critically, and helps you build confidence. Whether you’re trying to catch up, aiming to pass, or pushing for top grades, I’ll meet you where you are. Together, we’ll work step by step, building the skills and mindset you need to succeed — in school and beyond.

How I Teach GCSE & A-Level Biology: I teach biology the way I wish it had been taught to me — with clarity, structure, and real-life relevance. Whether you're aiming to pass, push for top grades, or prepare for university, I’ll help you build the understanding, confidence, and mindset you need. My Teaching Approach: Concepts that actually make sense: I break down tricky topics into visual, step-by-step explanations with real-world and healthcare-related examples so you truly understand the science — not just memorise it. Active practice in every session: We use exam-style questions to apply knowledge, boost recall, and train the brain to think like an examiner. 1 key skill per lesson: Each session targets a transferable skill — like data interpretation, logical reasoning, or scientific analysis — so you’re not just learning facts, but building your problem-solving muscle. Smarter revision, better results: I coach you on how to revise effectively, beat procrastination, and stay motivated throughout your studies. Lesson Format: 1-hour sessions, fully tailored to your level, pace, and exam board Delivered online or in person, depending on location Flexible focus: catch-up, stretch-and-challenge, or university preparation Teaching grounded in my healthcare degree and real science communication skills
