About Elena

At first I really struggled with Spanish in school, but now it is one of my favourite subjects to learn and to teach, and that is because of my own tutors that I had for A Level. I have tutored children in my local area for 2+ years in Spanish, helping all the way up to GCSE, my students have all come away with a grade 7 or higher, with many achieving an 8 or 9. My experience with Spanish includes achieving an A at Spanish A Level, and receiving two Spanish language and literature qualifications at the Cambridge University Language Centre, going up to C2 level.

About the lesson

Each lesson will be an hour long with a 5 minute break in the middle. Spanish does not have to be difficult or boring as long as the lessons match how you engage with language, this can be through conversation, visual presentation and even songs to help memorise vocabulary. A good teacher can help you to truly love a subject, which is why I want to ensure that all of my students find Spanish a fun and easy subject. I will use my own experience from learning Spanish to help you, as I have been in your shoes, I can understand how frustrating learning a new language can be!
