About Rashmi
I’m Dr. Rashmi Nair, a passionate Science educator, former Cambridge Exam Officer and IGCSE Coordinator. My PhD research in Biochemistry, with research experience associated with BARC, along with my postdoctoral research in Portugal, has given me a strong scientific foundation. I bring this research perspective into my teaching, making Science engaging, relatable and meaningful while helping students develop scientific thinking and confidence in Cambridge examinations.

Teaching techniques: I focus on conceptual understanding through interactive discussions, visual explanations, real-life examples, questioning, experiments and application-based learning.
Class structure: Each class generally includes concept introduction, guided discussion, problem-solving, Cambridge-style questions, higher-order thinking and a short recap or assessment.
Special features: My experience as a Cambridge Exam Officer and IGCSE Coordinator enables me to help students understand command words, mark schemes, examination expectations and effective answer-writing techniques.
Personalised learning: I encourage students to ask questions, explain their reasoning and connect scientific concepts to real-world situations. Small-group classes allow individual attention and regular feedback.
Classes intended for: School students following the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, particularly Grades 8–10, for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, through live online classes.
