About Fleur

I am a hard-working, organised and intelligent student, and I think that my skills can be transferred into providing competent and valuable tutoring for children. Having studied at Cambridge University has taught me how to work effectively under pressure, produce work to a high standard and organise my time effectively - these are all skills that I am keen to show others to help them with their studied with what I have learnt. I have also given help to siblings, family members and friends with their work in the past, so I know how to approach tutoring in a patient way that will allow pupils to understand and improve their studies most effectively. I hope you will consider me for tutoring.

About the lesson

My first session would cover getting to know the student and the level that they are working at, as well as which areas in particular they may be struggling with. It would be helpful at this stage to be provided with previous work or essays that we could go through together in subsequent sessions. As the lessons progress, I would set them essays or small tasks to do, including exam papers if applicable, and then we would go through them in the next session and discuss areas of improvement, allowing us to focus the lessons so that they cater more towards these areas of improvement. The sessions would be an hour in length, and could take place once or twice a week, depending on the demand of the student.

Designed for students studying in secondary or upper primary school (ideally Year 5-11), at GCSE level or below; in particular, for anyone struggling in school with work, or in need of exam preparation and advice.

As a Cambridge student, I would be able to offer valuable study advice and help them with their work, deriving from my own personal experience with studying, and previous experience helping family members, etc. with tutoring.
