About Jillian
My approach is very practical and client-focused. I ensure that my students do most of the talking — around 70 to 80 percent — because it is their time to practice and improve. I tailor each lesson to their specific job and real business situations, such as meetings, presentations, negotiations, or networking. I use role-plays regularly, focus on relevant business vocabulary, and provide clear, direct feedback on the language points that genuinely impact their communication.
My goal is simple: to help them feel more confident and communicate more effectively in the workplace.

With over 25 years working in in an international business environment, my Business English lessons come with real corporate experience — I understand meetings, negotiations, presentations, reporting, and the realities of working in global environments using a second language, because I’ve been there myself.
Languages have always been a big part of my life. I hold a BA in Applied Languages (Spanish and German) from Dublin City University, and these languages played an important role throughout my international career.
Today, I combine my business background and love of languages to help professionals build the confidence and communication skills they need to succeed in English.
