About Nainu
About Me
With over 25 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, and government relations, I've spent my career helping executives, teams, and organizations communicate clearly and persuasively in English — in boardrooms, in front of regulators, and in high-pressure media moments.
I've held senior roles at Philip Morris International, where I led corporate affairs across a three-country mandate, and at Adfactors PR, one of India's leading communications agencies. My work has taken me from drafting regulatory submissions to Indian government ministries to advising international clients through Dua Associates and Kissinger McLarty. Along the way, I've briefed C-suite leaders, written for public and press audiences, and coached professionals on how to present themselves with confidence and clarity.
I hold an MBA from IMI New Delhi and a BA (Hons) in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce — but what I bring to tutoring isn't theory, it's two and a half decades of real, high-stakes professional communication.
I also hold a PG Diploma in Learning Disabilities and ADHD, and have worked with K-12 students on individualized learning approaches since 2022. If conventional teaching methods haven't worked for you in the past, I take the time to understand how you learn best and adapt accordingly.
My goal is simple: to help you communicate in English the way professionals actually do — clearly, confidently, and with impact — whether that's in an email, a meeting, or a moment that matters.

**Teaching techniques and methods**
I use a practical, scenario-based approach rather than textbook drills — role-playing real workplace situations (emails, meetings, presentations, negotiations), correcting in context rather than through isolated grammar exercises, and adapting pace and method for learners with different processing styles, drawing on my LD/ADHD training.
**Usual class structure**
Each session opens with a quick review of a real task the student is working on (an email, a presentation, an upcoming meeting), followed by focused practice and correction, and closes with a short set of refinements to apply before our next session — so learning stays tied to actual work, not abstract exercises.
**Special features as a teacher**
25+ years of hands-on corporate communications, PR, and government relations experience (Philip Morris International, Adfactors PR, international policy advisory) means I teach the English that's actually used in high-stakes professional settings — not classroom English. I also hold a PG Diploma in LD and ADHD, allowing me to adapt teaching for students who don't learn well through conventional methods.
