About Mario
As a third year university student majoring in Neuroscience and minor in Italian Language Studies, I have much experience with the struggles a student goes through. I have had years of trial and error to pinpoint specific study strategies that not only work for me, but have benefited others as well.
My mom and much of my family grew up in Italy and speak Italian with me every day. In addition, I have studied abroad in Siena, Italy where I not only studied the language, but travelled around using it in different parts of the country. With this native influence on my language learning, I have strengthened my base learning skills and comfortableness with other speakers.

My approach to teaching Italian is to first enjoy the language as a whole. Italian is a beautiful language that should be used to connect people with communication and writing. Lessons will be tailored to the student's language level and what areas of improvement are present. Instead of straight memorization, conversing and utilization of the Italian language are at the core of my teaching methods. I truly believe in the student's accountability and the allowance of a two-way relationship in creating their lessons.
