+ I was raised in a household of five siblings, I am the eldest and I have gained much knowledge and experience toward working with others, and providing guidance, especially for children and young adults. Throughout my years as a high school student, there was always opportunity to tutor my sibling in Kindergarten, my sibling in 5th grade, and my other siblings in middle school and high school. Learning, tutoring, and teaching with others has been a natural experience of mine as a home-schooled graduate.

As a teacher, I maintain a positive learning environment and approach each student as an individual. The process of practicing and learning is important to me, and I consider it an honor to help students find ways to unleash their potential.
I am a sophomore in college majoring in English with an emphasis in Education. I am flexible to teach and tutor the English language, and Beginner and Intermediate Spanish. I also have experience with students simply seeking tutoring help or a study buddy to help each student stay motivated and on course.
My language training goes beyond lessons-only: I welcome the possibility to ask questions outside class hours, writing and correcting questions, proofreading, revision, etc.)
* What a lesson structure looks like with me
I treat the student with respect, kindness, and motivate them in a caring and kind fashion. Despite the differences or disabilities, I am determined to find a way for each student to learn, conquer, and succeed. I expect students to be ready to learn, respectful, and prepared. If unable, this will not be an issue. I enjoy working with all students and am determined to meet the academic goals of each student.
* Teaching methods & philosophy
I believe each student is smart and unique in their own way. When a student feels unprepared or anxious about their abilities, I assure them that they are possible and can accomplish anything--with discipline and the art of repetition. If a student tends to feel bored or unprepared, I continue to prepare an informative, easy-to-understand, and flexible way of curriculum for the student to master and achieve.
* What if a student does not understand? How do you react?
If a student continues to misunderstand or cannot, I do not feel intimidated or troubled by this. I believe in reassuring the student that what we are learning may not be easy, but that we can & will conquer. Methods include different ways of solving a problem, or demonstrating to the student how I may solve the problem, without providing too many prompts so that the student may learn how to do it for themselves.
About: My hobbies and interests include reading, photography, baking & cooking, writing, bike cycling, and spending time with my two silly cats.
