About Advik
I’m a Chemistry tutor with 11+ years of experience and a MSc in Supramolecular Chemistry, specializing in the science behind the materials that shape our lives. My lessons blend polymer chemistry, nanoscience, and supramolecular design. Students explore case studies on sustainable plastics, high-performance composites, and nanostructured coatings. We break down how chemical structure translates into strength, flexibility, and conductivity. I use visual models, interactive problem-solving, and discussions on current breakthroughs. My teaching encourages both analytical thinking and creative design. By the end, students can not only explain how materials work but also imagine how they might create better ones.

Chemistry is a subject best learned through both understanding and doing. My teaching focuses on analytical chemistry, spectroscopy, chromatography, and quantitative analysis techniques. I use a mix of explanation, demonstration, and problem-solving. The aim is to give students a clear grasp of each method and its practical use. Every lesson has a direct link to laboratory applications.
With aspiring geneticists and microbiologists, I emphasize skills that are critical for research work. We analyze how spectroscopy reveals molecular structures, how chromatography separates mixtures, and how quantitative analysis ensures reliable results. Lessons include case studies from biological and chemical labs.
Visual aids like spectra, chromatograms, and instrument diagrams make learning more engaging. Students practice interpreting real experimental data. I encourage them to think critically about each result and its implications. Troubleshooting scenarios are built into lessons for a deeper understanding. Over time, students develop both the confidence and the independence to use chemistry effectively. The goal is mastery, not memorization.
