About OLUTOLA

With over 10 years of experience in tutoring onsite and 5 years online, a BSc and TEFL certification as well as a passion for the English language, I am dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized education to students of all levels. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, mastery, and a love for learning, whether in KS1 & KS2 English or ESL. I have a proven track record of success having worked both onsite and online with students, including KS1 and KS2 learners. I adapt my methods to suit each student's needs, ensuring lessons are both engaging and effective. I believe in creating a professional, supportive, and respectful learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. Your child's academic success and personal growth are my top priorities.

About the lesson

With over 10 years of tutoring experience onsite and 5 years online, I specialize in teaching KS1 and KS2 learners (ages 5-12) as well as ESL(English as a Second Language) students. I hold a Bachelor's degree and a TEFL certification, equipping me with the skills to support both native and non-native English speakers in building strong academic foundations.
My teaching method is engaging, patient and tailored to each child's unique learning style. I incorporate visual aids, storytelling, interactive games, phonics and structured practice to make lessons enjoyable and effective. For ESL learners, I focus on building vocabulary, speaking confidence, grammar and listening skills through real-life conversations and fun activities.
Typical lesson length is 45 - 60 minutes, depending on the child's age, attention span and learning goals. I believe in creating a positive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and grow at their own pace.
Whether your child needs help catching up, wants to get ahead or you intend learning English as a second language, I'm here to support the journey every step of the way.
