About Oyindamola

Hello, my name is Oyindamola, and I am a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children and young people within UK school settings.

I enjoy helping children learn, grow in confidence, and achieve their full potential. Working with students with Autism and additional learning needs has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting learning to suit each child’s individual needs and learning style.

I decided to teach because I genuinely enjoy making a positive difference in children’s lives. I understand that some students may need extra support, reassurance, or different teaching approaches to feel confident in their learning, and I am committed to creating a calm, supportive, and engaging environment where every child feels valued.

I hold a BSc degree and Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications, alongside safeguarding and behaviour management training. My experience has helped me develop strong communication, organisation, and classroom support skills.

I offer friendly and supportive lessons for KS1 and KS2 pupils, including reading support, phonics practice, homework help, and SEN-friendly learning support. My goal is to help students feel more confident, motivated, and successful in their learning journey.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and tailored to each child’s individual learning needs. I believe every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to help students feel comfortable, confident, and engaged during lessons.

I use interactive activities, reading exercises, phonics support, visual learning techniques, and positive encouragement to help students improve academically while building confidence. I also have experience supporting children with Autism and additional learning needs, which helps me create calm and inclusive learning environments.

Lessons are usually between 45 minutes and 1 hour depending on the child’s age and attention span. I offer support with KS1 and KS2 homework, reading, phonics, communication skills, and general learning support.

I am a BSc graduate and an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant currently working within UK school settings. I also hold Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications along with safeguarding and behaviour management training.

My lessons are suitable for primary school children, particularly KS1 and KS2 pupils, including students who may benefit from additional SEN-friendly support.
