About Robyn

I’m a tutor with a strong background in mathematics and physical science, and my goal is to make these subjects more understandable and enjoyable for you. Throughout high school I consistently performed well in these areas, and in university I’ve continued to deepen my understanding, earning a distinction in a module closely linked to physics and math. My recent tutoring experience showed me I really enjoy helping students grow in confidence and ability. I approach each lesson as an empathetic listener first. I take time to understand exactly where your current understanding is, so we can build from there at a pace that suits you. I am very detail-oriented and always aim to explain concepts in simple, manageable ways. Whether you need help catching up, strengthening your foundation, or pushing for top results, I’m here to support you on your academic journey.

About the lesson

My Tutoring Structure I support learners in Mathematics and Physics, whether you are catching up, strengthening your foundation, or pushing for top results. • (+First Lesson - Brief chat about your goals, challenges, and how you feel about the subject.) • Discussion of Topic/Question: You notify me beforehand which areas you struggle with most. During the session, we work through theories and example questions to help you understand the content. It is my goal for you to understand why the solution works, not just how to do it. • Remember to continue working on questions outside of tutoring sessions, regardless of who the tutor may be. Doing Math and Physics consistently is a good habit to build up that will go a long way. We will first work through your own questions before I introduce you to new problems. You are more than welcome to bring anything from homework questions, to past papers and class examples - so long as you have worked through a decent number of the questions (so you know where you struggle)
