About George
Hello! I am a Second Year Broadcast Engineering student with a love for mathematics! In light of the current situation I can only deliver lessons online at the moment.
I would love to share my knowledge and enable students to reach their potential by teaching them in an engaging and encouraging manner. Every student starts off at some level no matter how high or low but with determination and drive any student can reach their potential and beyond with the right teaching which I believe I offer.
I have extensive knowledge in Mathematics achieving A* in both GCSE and A Level Maths with full marks in C3 and C4. I am currently studying Broadcast Engineering at University where I continue to learn and use mathematics learnt from A Level.
Although it is the first time I have used this platform I do have experience teaching students in my secondary school. Every lunchtime I helped GCSE pupils with Physics problems they were struggling to understand.

Having the experience of doing GCSE and A Level mathematics and achieving the highest grades I know exactly what students need to do to achieve these grades and the resources they can use to help them on their journey in doing so. I believe that the key to success in Mathematics is doing questions questions and more questions! Therefore, I will strongly encourage my students to come to me with many questions that they are struggling with and I can then talk them through the method and process of how to answer them in order to gain full marks. If I see they are finding it hard to grasp the concept then I will then teach them thoroughly that topic until they understand.
I believe that feedback is invaluable and would really appreciate feedback from my students about their teaching experience week after week so that I can continue to improve my way of teaching and help my students excel in mathematics.
