About Quinn
As a dedicated music tutor with experience in marching band and other levels of music, I bring a professional, structured, and supportive approach to every lesson. My background as a leader in both percussion and brass, has taught me how to communicate clearly, break down complex musical ideas, and guide students with patience and confidence. I’ve worked closely with my high school marching band since I’ve graduated, giving me hands-on experience at teaching students with different skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or preparing for college-level music classes, my lessons are designed to build strong reading skills, inspire confidence, and help you grow as a musician.

I break music down into simple, repeatable steps that build confidence. My focus is for students to understand why music works not just what the notes are. I also tend to meet students where they are, especially beginners who feel intimidated by sheet music. Typically, I tutor those who are unfamiliar with reading lines or making out rhythms, but I don't mind sharing knowledge with those more experienced. I am open to tutoring anyone and everyone no matter what level they might be at.
