Hi! I'm Melissa, born and raised in Hong Kong and currently studying at UCLA! Having studied in Hong Kong, the UK and the US, I enjoy learning from different cultures and perspectives. I believe learning doesn't have to be boring! Whether we're practicing Mandarin, exploring Cantonese expressions or tackling tricky Math questions, I'll make lessons interactive, enjoyable and suited to your pace. My teaching approach makes Chinese and Mathematics engaging and tailored to each student's needs. Lessons include explaining concepts, reviewing difficult topics and practicing exam-style questions. Born and raised in Hong Kong, I am a native Cantonese and Mandarin speaker with Chinese teaching experience. With three years of UK boarding school experience, I am also fluent in English. I achieved Grade 9 in GCSE Chinese, three Grade 9s in GCSE Mathematics across different exam boards, an A* in A-Level Chinese and an A in A-Level Mathematics. I welcome students of different levels, including exam preparation.
