About Jett
Hi, I’m Jett, a 1st year Biomedical Science student with a strong passion for maths and helping others learn. I enjoy making difficult topics easier to understand and helping students build confidence in their abilities. My goal is to create supportive, engaging lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace. I am reliable, patient, and committed to helping each student achieve their full potential in maths.

My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and focused on building confidence step by step. I understand maths can be overwhelming so I aim to create a calm learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I teach by breaking difficult topics down into simple, manageable steps and then guiding students through practice questions together. I also encourage students to explain their thinking aloud, as this helps improve understanding and problem-solving skills.
My lessons are tailored to each of my student’s individual needs, whether they need help catching up in class, preparing for exams, improving confidence, or strengthening core maths skills.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and usually includes:
Reviewing previous topics
Explaining a new concept step by step
Working through guided practice questions
Independent practice with support
Recapping key points and identifying areas to improve
I am currently a 1st year Biomedical Science student with a strong background in mathematics and science. Through my studies, I regularly apply mathematical and analytical skills, which helps me explain concepts clearly and logically.
