About Isabella
I hold a 1st Class MEng degree in Biomedical Engineering and an MSc in Clinical Engineering from King’s College London. I’m passionate about helping students thrive and reach their full potential! With over a year of tutoring experience and a Student Leadership Accreditation from Team Up, I bring energy and enthusiasm to make learning both fun and relatable. Beyond tutoring, I’ve spent three years as a Social Mobility & Student Success Ambassador and two years leading youth programmes at my church. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the challenges young people face, and I’m committed to helping them build the confidence and skills to succeed—both in school and in life. Originally from Colombia, I’m fluent in Spanish, so I can offer support in both languages for students who feel more comfortable speaking Spanish.

I have over a year of experience tutoring GCSE students and proudly hold a Student Leadership Accreditation through Team Up, which showcases my dedication to helping students achieve their academic goals. My tutoring style is all about breaking down complex topics into easy-to-understand steps, tailoring each lesson to fit individual needs, and making learning enjoyable and engaging. I believe learning should be exciting, not stressful, and I love making challenging subjects feel approachable! I take the time to help students discover the revision methods that work best for them, empowering them to study confidently and independently. On top of that, I provide plenty of exam question practice to get students comfortable with the format and expectations, walking through each answer together to pinpoint areas for improvement and strengthen their understanding. My ultimate goal is to help students not only grow in knowledge but also gain the confidence they need to excel in exams and beyond!
