About Janna
In recent years I have gained a lot of experience in tutoring. When I was in 6th VWO, I was given the opportunity to tutor 'disadvantaged students' in groups of 6-10 students and help with planning/organizing/motivating. This with a lot of fun and also successes! I have also previously given private tutoring in; Dutch, mathematics and biology.
I am currently studying international biomedical sciences at Maastricht University. As a result, I speak 'native' English and I have extremely advanced knowledge of Biology, but I also have a lot of passion for it. But also with all other subjects of the package; nature and health, I can help up to and including 6 VWO Level.

I would describe my tutoring method as calm and patient. Because I have been able to guide more than 40 students in recent years, I quickly see which approach works best for a student. By using a personal approach, I believe the fastest results can be achieved. I have really enjoyed learning both in my time as a student now and in secondary school and I hope to be able to motivate and enthuse students for their school work, just as I am.

Ik heb bijles van Janna gehad toen ik in 1 VWO zat voor het vak Nederlands. Ik stond na de eerste paar maanden een 4 voor Nederlands, maar wist niet wat er mis ging. Meteen merkte ik al dat ik beter werd na de eerste les. Met handige tips leerde ik beter zinsopbouw en spellen en haalde meteen een 8,5 voor mijn toets! Na meerdere maanden bijles is het zelfs gelukt om van die 4 een 7 te maken.
