About Tess
In my biology lessons, we dive into the incredible world of the human brain, one of the most complex organs in the body. My approach combines careful analysis with structured case studies in neuroscience. I’m a Biology tutor with over 10 years of experience and a BSc in Human Biology. I love guiding students through the fascinating world of microbial ecology and the human microbiome. Together, we explore microbial diversity and uncover the amazing symbioses that sustain life, such as the vital role of gut flora in maintaining health. I also help students understand biogeochemical cycles and how microbes drive essential environmental processes.
Microorganisms are invisible to the naked eye, but their impact is enormous. I make it easy to see how microbes influence health, disease, and ecosystems.
