About Ritvik kumar
I have several years of academic and professional experience in the life sciences and healthcare sector. Academically, I have completed an MSc in Microbiology/Life Sciences, covering core areas such as cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, microbiology, and human physiology. Professionally, I have worked in biotechnology and pharmaceutical environments, gaining practical exposure to applied biology, research processes, and healthcare operations. Alongside my studies and professional work, I have supported students through one-to-one tutoring and academic mentoring, helping them prepare for exams, strengthen core concepts, and develop effective study strategies. This combination of academic depth, industry exposure, and clear communication allows me to deliver focused, high-impact Biology tutoring.

My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s level, learning style, and exam requirements. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding, then break down complex biological concepts into clear, logical steps using diagrams, real-world examples from healthcare and life sciences, and exam-focused explanations. Sessions typically last 60 minutes and combine concept building, guided practice, and exam-style questions to strengthen both understanding and technique. I specialise in GCSE, A-Level, and IB Biology (SL/HL), as well as adult learners preparing for healthcare or life sciences pathways. Alongside subject content, I focus strongly on revision strategies, exam technique, and study skills to help students build confidence, independence, and consistent academic improvement.
