About Olivia
In my lessons, we focus on the amazing world of the plant kingdom with care and curiosity. My nurturing and personalised approach helps you appreciate the beauty and importance of plants. We cover plant biology in detail, from how photosynthesis powers life to the fascinating ways plants reproduce. Together, we also explore agricultural science and how it connects plants to our daily lives.
I make sure to explain even the smallest processes, like cell functions, in simple and clear ways. We’ll also look at how plants influence global challenges like food security and climate. Every lesson is designed to spark your curiosity and deepen your understanding of the flora around you.
You’ll see how plants connect to medicine, genetics, and environmental health. My goal is to help you feel confident in your knowledge and inspired by the natural world.

I’m an experienced Biology tutor with over 7 years of helping students succeed, and I hold a BSc in Zoology. Over the years, I’ve guided many future medical professionals and pharmaceutical scientists to deepen their understanding of biology’s most exciting frontiers. My main passion lies in teaching students about pharmacogenomics and personalised medicine. I love showing how genetic variations influence drug responses, and how this knowledge is transforming patient care.
I help students explore the pathways of drug metabolism and the role of enzymes, receptors, and transporters shaped by our unique genetic codes. Together, we dive into how pharmacogenomics paves the way for safer, more effective treatments tailored to each individual. Many of my students come in feeling overwhelmed by the complexity of genetic data, but I break it down into clear, relatable concepts. I also make sure we connect these ideas to real-world healthcare applications and case studies.
My approach is highly interactive, mixing theory with practical examples and current research trends. I’ve seen how these topics inspire students to pursue careers in medicine, pharmacy, and biomedical research with confidence.
