About Azahara
I am a Science Teacher, qualified to teach, biology, physics, chemistry, science and geology. I am passionate about teaching sciences and helping young people in their own personal development.
From my work experiences as a Biology/Science Teacher in different secondary schools in England, Scotland and Spain, I have developed a wide range of skills that makes me a great teacher. These skills include my proven ability to deal with people from all backgrounds in a caring and professional manner, my ability to adapt the syllabus and activities to suit the different needs of the pupils and my ability to use my initiative when planning and preparing lessons and various activities. I am a highly motivated Science Teacher who enjoys teaching as well as working with young people. This helps me maintaining a high level of interest and enjoyment within the class. To keep the attention and engagement of the pupils I apply topics of their daily life and bring practical examples that are relevant for them. I make sure that the lessons contain a very active learning approach to maximise and promote learning in a fun and creative way. I always keep my relationship with the pupils professional, positive and supportive, based on mutual respect. I make sure that there is a relaxed but respectful atmosphere in the class so the pupils feel comfortable asking questions, participating in the activities and taking initiative.
