About Warin
Hello! I'm a final-year Biology student with a strong background in both research and teaching. I’ve previously served as a teaching assistant for a university-level biostatistics course and have experience tutoring IB Biology HL and Chemistry HL, in which I earned a high 6 and a 7, respectively. Currently, I’m involved in molecular biology research and am passionate about making complex biological concepts accessible and engaging. I've always found real-life applications of materials to be what made my subjects interesting to me. Besides focusing on real-world impact, I also like to ask my students questions after explaining a concept to make sure they understand it. Finally, I will finish off a lesson with some practice questions so students can feel exam-ready! Previously, I tutored 10th and 11th grade students in Biology and Chemistry, with each session lasting for 60 to 90 minutes. I also have personal experience achieving a 42/45 in the IB with a 6 in Biology HL and a 7 in Chemistry HL, and would be eager to extend my range to include tutoring those subjects as well.
