About Kaylee
I am also a student struggling in the same manners k-12 students are. I know how hard it can be but I've picked up strategies here and there that have helped my current students and classmates succeed in their own ways. I am here because I want to help, not judge or set myself up as an authority figure. If given the chance, I want to grow along side my students becauseI too learn from my students as they learn from me as well.

As a tutor I like to listen to my students prior knowledge and unique approaches. I know that not every child learns the same way so getting to know what works for them, wether it be abstract, illustrating, or modeling is key. A student should be in control of their own education and my goal is to be a guiding facilitator and helping hand when needed. The moment a student can teach a concept to me or another student is when I know the information has been processed at a new level and we can build upon it from there.
