About Mackenzie
I am an experienced and adaptable science tutor, supporting students from elementary school through high school, including AP Biology and physiology. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and have completed veterinary training, which has strengthened my applied science knowledge, analytical thinking, and ability to explain complex concepts clearly. My sessions focus on helping students understand science concepts, complete assignments, and build confidence. I adapt my approach to each student’s learning style, creating a supportive and engaging environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking.
What sets me apart is my ability to recognize when students are struggling and adjust my approach in the moment, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. My goal is to help students not only succeed academically but also develop curiosity, critical thinking skills, and confidence in science.
