About Kate
I have 2 years of experience as a university tutor and guest lecturer at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where I supported large classes (300-400 students) and small-group teaching (1-10 students). I was also recognized with the Outstanding Learning Assistant Award from the Psychology Department for teaching and student support.
I teach:
• Biology (SPM level – simplified and concept-focused)
• Psychology (IGCSE, A-Level, IB, and university level)
• Research Methods and Statistics (basic to undergraduate level)
I specialize in neuroscience and can help students understand key topics such as general psychology, developmental psychology, neuroscience, psychopharmacology, and social/political psychology in a simple and structured way.
My focus is on making difficult concepts easy to understand, using clear explanations, examples, and guided practice to help students improve confidence and exam performance.
