About Elaine
Hi, my name is Elaine! I have graduated York University with a major in Biology, and am going into Masters of Biology next year. I have a strong interest in all fields of science. I can help with math and science lessons from grades 1-8, as well as high school chemistry and biology classes. I am particularly skilled in doing scientific research, so I can help with science projects and reports.

My approach to lessons is quite open-ended. I try to tailor my teaching style to the student(s) learning style. This involves finding and playing to their strengths while working on their weak spots. Along with helping the student with homework or any questions, I will teach them how to critically think and become self-sufficient in seeking out answers to their questions.
