About Wofai
I'm thrilled to be your biology teacher. I hold a degree in Biology and Education from the University of Calabar.
I teach Basic science for Junior school and Biology for High School. I have helped over 80 students develop love for the natural science and Aced Biology to enable pursue their passion in the natural and medical professions. I also have a certificate from the Digital Witch Academy majoring in Virtual Assistance where I'm equiped with all the digital tools for teaching virtually.
I'm so passionate about teaching biology because I am fascinated by the natural world. I spent countless hours exploring the outdoors, observing plants, watching the different animals in my parents backyard and wondering about the many mysteries of life. This curiosity led me to study biology in the university, where I delved deep into the intricacies of living organisms and their environments.
My goal as your teacher is to ignite that same spark of curiosity in each of you. I want to help you see the beauty and complexity of the biological world and understand its relevance to our daily lives. We'll explore fascinating topics, conduct exciting experiments, and hopefully, answer some of the questions you have about life. I can't wait to share my love for biology with all of you on here and see where this adventure takes us!

My Teaching techniques and methodology
1. Understanding my Student's needs by assessment which require beginning with a diagnostic test or conversation to identify my student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. And then collaborate with my student to set clear, achievable goals for their biology studies.
2. Personalize learning Plan with a
tailored curriculum that aligns with my student's academic level and goals. Also being Flexible and adaptable in the teaching methods to suit the changing needs and progress of my student. I'll employ interactive teaching techniques.
Hands-On Activities where I will use models, specimens, and experiments to make learning more tangible. And what is biology without visual Aids? So I would incorporate diagrams, videos, and interactive whiteboards to illustrate complex concepts.
3. I will connect biological concepts to real-world scenarios to make them more relevant and interesting. And also encourage critical thinking and deeper understanding by asking guiding questions.
4. Continuous Assessment and Feedback
Formative Assessments is employed in my teaching methodology where I use quizzes, flashcards, and informal assessments to gauge understanding and adjust teaching methods. In constructive Feedback provision is made for timely and specific feedback to help my students improve and stay motivated.
5. Encouraging Curiosity and Exploration
Inquiry-Based Learning. In this method i encourage students to ask questions and explore topics beyond the syllabus.
Typical length for my lesson is between 45 minutes to 1 hour per session.
My qualification is BSC. in Biology Education and over 10 years of experience as a biology teacher.
My lessons are for primary and high school students of ages 10-16 years.
