I am a Biologist with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in metabolic disorders, computer-aided drug design, and enzyme kinetics. About the lesson

Teaching Methodology
I easily adapt to all levels, tailoring my approach to each learner’s needs and preferences. Understanding that effective Spanish teaching depends on age, proficiency level, and goals, I use a mix of communicative (e.g., real-life communication, role-playing, dialogues), immersive and contextual (e.g., encouraging thinking in Spanish rather than translating, incorporating cultural elements, using Spanish media), and natural approaches (e.g., creating a stress-free environment for learning). This combination helps students build confidence, develop fluency, and truly connect with the language.

A typical lesson with me begins with an ice-breaking activity or a fun fact of the day, followed by a listening exercise—such as playing a song and identifying as many words as possible. Then, we move on to a grammar lesson, engaging role-playing activities, and real-life or spontaneous dialogues to encourage thinking in Spanish. To reinforce learning, I provide short, relevant homework assignments.

Experience
I have experience teaching and mentoring children, middle school, high school, technical program, and undergraduate students. Additionally, I am proficient in teaching, mentoring, and lecturing on science-related topics.
