About Eduardo Silva Junior
I am a Biologist, Master in Bioengineering and PhD in Ecology and Evolution. I have scientific publications in wide-ranging international journals and more than 20 papers presented at congresses including oral expositions at international congresses. I participated in research projects in Brazil and the USA, and coordinated biodiversity assessment projects funded by private initiative. I have experience in the field of sustainability and socioeconomics, having worked on ethnodevelopment and environmental monitoring projects together with indigenous populations in the Amazon. I participated in environmental licensing work in several Brazilian biomes and ministered field courses in the area of Ecology and Environment.

I work on orientation, I seek to start from the student's previous knowledge and understand their needs and difficulties in order to guide the formulation of hypotheses and the search and consolidation of the knowledge necessary for the elaboration and development of projects and academic works. I try to help the student actively in all aspects to idealize, develop and write the work (theoretical foundation, formulation of hypotheses, development and interpretation of statistical analysis, writing and formatting of the text, bibliographical references, training for presentations). I develop classroom and online activities including: * lectures and face-to-face discussions aiming at the construction of theoretical knowledge and hypothesis formulation; * Statistical analysis using appropriate software; * commented correction of works and projects; * assistance and guidance in the search for bibliographic references; * formatting of texts according to ABNT standards; * development and training for presentations (Power point); * Formulation, correction and aid in guided studies. Thus I seek to provide the necessary tools and strategies for research and research, guiding the student throughout the process.
