About Angelina

I’m Angelina, a Biological Sciences student at University College London (UCL) with a strong academic background in Biology and Chemistry.

I was academic scholar at school and achieved top grades throughout, including all 9s at GCSE, and studied Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at A level. I have also taken part in national science competitions, achieving Gold in the British Chemistry Olympiad and Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, as well as Silver in the British Biology Olympiad. I have also taken part in multiple scientific essay competitions and placed in these so I am also able to help with essays and personal statements!

About the lesson

I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and genuinely understand the subjects they are studying, rather than simply memorising information for an exam. I know that science and maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I aim to break difficult concepts down into clear, manageable steps and adapt my explanations to suit each student’s learning style.

As a university Biology student, I can particularly help with Biology and Chemistry, from strengthening core understanding to developing exam technique and tackling more challenging questions. I can also support students with GCSE Mathematics and general study and revision skills.

My lessons are friendly, encouraging and tailored to the individual student. Whether you are aiming for a top grade, struggling with a particular topic, or simply want to feel more confident before an exam, I would love to help you reach your goals!
