About Jaxzyn
Hi I'm Jaxzyn (you say it like Jackson). I'm currently a student at the University of Manitoba majoring in biochemistry. I have a GPA of 4.3 meaning I'm on the deans honour roll, although the fields of biology and chemistry are my forte, I have plenty of experience in math, physics, psychology, and humanities. I recently scored in the 95th percentile on the MCAT demonstrating my science strengths.
That's me as a tutor, but as a person I love basketball from NBA to CEBL (It's a seabears summer baby) to playing pickup, it's one of my main hobbies. I have interest in research, I find that going to work everyday and learning is one of the most rewarding things. This most recent summer I worked in a university lab studying cancer cells, to not only enjoy what I'm doing but also know that I can be helpful to people is something that makes research so appealing. The final little fun fact I have about myself is that I want to go to medical school in my home town of Winnipeg, it's something I've been working towards for years, and I'm always happy to share my journey with any other young aspiring students!
