About Eliu
As a biochemistry graduate currently on the pre-med track, I have spent years mastering tough sciences and messy data sets. I'll be the first to tell you that these subjects can be incredibly overwhelming, but I genuinely believe anyone can master them with the right approach. I am a firm believer that learning should be engaging and collaborative, much better than trying to make sense of your textbook. My goal is to be the supportive mentor I wish I had when I was sitting in those tough classes, helping students build real confidence, conquer their academic hurdles, and maybe even have a little fun with the science along the way

Hi!
If you are someone who is stuck or lost and sitting in one of your science courses feeling like you're in way over your head. Don't worry, I've been there and I can help pull you out. As a graduate of biochemistry who's currently working their way to med school, I have a great passion for sciences that I am very excited to share with you.
These are the subjects I provide structured support in:

For all levels up through undergraduate studies.
Science is incredibly fascinating, but if you are stuck trying to memorize a bunch of arbitrary variables, processes, mechanisms or theories, you're going to find it to be much more complicated than it needs to be. I am known for making complex concepts much easier to understand by relating them to things that matter and make sense to us. My tutoring philosophy centers on active learning; we look at the instructions, map out the variables together, work through the problems collaboratively and most importantly help find ways to actually understand what is going on.
For students needing help with lab analysis, please send me over your lab guides and data sheets at least 24 hours in advance so I can pre-orient with your guidelines and we don't waste a single minute of your paid session.
Also, if you aren't in a science lab but just want a general introduction to working with Excel or Google Sheets for your resume, job, or personal budgeting, ask me about my 1-month Spreadsheet course!
Additionally, I provide introductory trumpet lessons for students looking to pick up the instrument or master the basics. While yes I may be a scientist first, I'll always be a musician at heart. I focus on the foundational physical mechanics:
