About Diane
I have taught for 20 years, and taught approximately 400 students in my career. When my students came to me at the beginning of the academic year, they only communicated in their native language (Spanish). By the end of the year, my students had a strong foundation academically both in their dominant language and in English. Many were already reading in English.

I'm a retired bilingual teacher who taught Spanish-dominant students for 20 years. Along with core subjects that were taught in their native language, I taught ESL. Students left my classroom at the end of the school year with a good foundation in English. I taught kindergarten and pre-kindergarten, so I know how to keep a student's attention and make lessons fun and enjoyable. I'm kind and patient and love teaching.
