About Maud

I am currently following a dual degree student between Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics, in European affairs. I learned English from the age of three, following an extended stay in the United States of two years. I consolidated these bases by following an international section in high school. Finally, I became completely bilingual thanks to my bachelor's degree which I followed in Maastricht in the Netherlands, entirely in English. For your information, my TOEFL score (passed in 2020) was 115/120.
I am convinced that learning English is within everyone's reach, and that this knowledge is a real asset for personal or professional projects of everyone. When I was 15, I was already organizing voluntary English lessons in my village library. During my years in Maastricht, I regularly intervened in high schools in the region to offer seminars in English. I have a lot of experience with English, but also teaching it. About the lesson

Classes are adapted to the needs of each student, with a strong emphasis on oral fluency in English. The level varies from middle school to Bac +3 (Bachelor's level). I can also help you pass English-speaking certifications (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.). The courses are offered face-to-face (Paris region) or online.
A typical course would start with the discussion of a topic / subject of interest to the pupil. Vocabulary, grammar and conjugation rules related to this subject will then be covered during the course, with a maximum of oral participation from the student. Then, written assignments can be suggested in order to consolidate these bases. Finally, the next session will begin with a recap of the elements learned, as well as a correction with explanations of the exercises that may have been challenging.
In the event of a preparation for the English certifications, each part of the test will be revised (written, oral, comprehension), always in line with the student's interests. Mock exams will also be offered.
