About Henriette
I have over 35 years of experience within the following:
• Teaching Modern Languages (English, French and Spanish all levels, Polish (oral language).
• Assessing and Providing Therapy for Preschool and School Aged Children with a variety of speech, language and learning challenges (pronunciation/articulation, comprehension and expression of language both oral and written, social skills).
• Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate college level students working on a degree in speech and language pathology.

I am flexible, patient, and try to understand my student's needs.
I organize my lessons around the student's need and provide explanations for all I do . I begin my lessons by asking the student to tell me a couple of sentences about what we did the lesson before. I check for comprehension and focus on areas that may not have been clear. I react to the student's responses with enthusiasm. I conduct the lesson in the language of interaction as much as possible.

I am a native speaker of Spanish and Polish, learned French in a French Lycee in Mexico City and learned English as an early adolescent. I completed graduate school in the US and have resided in this country for 50 years.
