About Sabina
I am a bilingual speaker of Spanish and English with Language and Literature degrees in both subjects.
I pursued my education by completing a Masters in Applied Linguistics which taught me how to embed the best practices for teaching a second language.
I am currently working as a secondary teacher (of both English and Spanish) and have been teaching since my days at university to a range of pupils of different ages.

I approach each topic by first assessing what students already know about the topic in question.
After establishing this, I expose new information to students in various ways, depending on the topic and the age range (recall quiz, direct instruction). I also ensure I use a variety of engaging stimulus (images, recordings, etc)
Throughout the lesson, I will regularly check students' knowledge by asking questions (in Spanish or English), keeping the lesson upbeat and lively.
All lessons end with a reflection task where I ask students to explain how they found the lesson/learning and whether they feel they have improved and what they want to work more on next.
I am more than happy to provide feedback to independent work completed by students.
