¡Hola! I'm Sebastián, a bilingual Spanish teacher with a deep love for language, culture, and human connection. Born and raised in Colombia and now based in Nova Scotia, I bring not only native fluency but also a true passion for helping others communicate with confidence. Over the years, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life — from complete beginners to fluent speakers looking to refine their skills. My background in human relations and over a decade of experience in community and education have taught me that every student is unique, and so is every learning journey. What sets me apart is my patient, down-to-earth approach. I believe in creating a relaxed and supportive environment where making mistakes is part of the process — and often, the most fun part! Whether you're learning for travel, work, or personal enrichment, I'm here to guide you at your pace, with personalized support and clear goals. About the lesson

What I offer is complete personalization and honesty. Many of my students don’t need a full lesson plan because their goals and expectations vary. Some just want to travel and need a few useful phrases to get by — often, one lesson is enough. Others already know a lot and are looking more for a language consultant than a traditional teacher. And of course, some are complete beginners and need full guidance — for them, I create a customized learning plan. In general, I use a textbook to provide structure, and I expect my students to do their homework — because no class will be effective without self-study.
