About Lily

The classroom never felt like my natural home until I began working one to one. I prefer the quiet clarity of explaining a single concept until it resonates completely. Helping aspiring artists find their voice is my primary focus.

During my 7 years of teaching, I have guided over 300 students through the messy process of creation. Some arrive to solve a specific problem while others simply follow their curiosity.

My BFA in Music Technology from NYU provides the foundation for our work. I value independence above all else. You will leave these sessions feeling more capable than when you arrived. Perhaps we can start a conversation about your own songs soon.

About the lesson

Progress in songwriting happens when you stop trying to finish a track and start refining a thought. Understanding prosody and song structure matters more than finishing 10 half-baked ideas.

Bedroom producers and beginners often feel overwhelmed by the sheer scale of building a demo from a blank page. I use my technical training to simplify melody writing and rhyme schemes into manageable, logical steps. Whether we are discussing point of view or crafting a bridge, we move at a pace that ensures total comprehension. You will find that our time together centers on building your confidence as a creator.
