About Gerardo

My name is Gerardo Martinez, I'm originally from Guanajuato Mexico. I arrived to the United States when I was five years old which is a long story that if time allows I would be ever so glad to share with you. I'm 41 years of age and fluent in Spanish. One can say that English is my first language because of such a young age which I arrive to the US. Never the less Spanish was always my first language especially at home. Then came many of summers spent in Mexico that helped me refine that which I was learning in the US.

My career is one that found me, I'm a high school coach in Texas. I'm a Head Soccer Coach, Cross Country Coach, and an Assistant Football Coach. I've been coaching for the last 8 years and have loved every second of it. I'm a paraprofessional within the school district in the departments of ESL(English as a Second Language) and I also translate and interpreter during state meetings for non-English speaking parents. I also manage a credit recovery class on line for Spanish 1 and 2. I have found that I am a person of service and its my calling to help people with my experience and knowledge, yet my best ability is having resolve through any situation and never taking "NO" for an answer.
