About Mya
I have joyously been teaching since 2010. I have taught hundreds of students since that time I started. I have won teacher of the year twice in a row. I have experience in the private sector as well as the public. I taught public elementary and high school for 3 yrs. I have taught private sector for four years. I helped students on the elementary school level that suffered from ADHD focus better to achieve academic and behavioral results. I have helped students on the high school level improve their scores for the SAT's to become eligible for college. The accomplishment I am most proud of is helping students have fun learning.

Howdy, my name is Mya. I have an science degree in Health and Physiology, a business degree in Marketing and currently working on a master's in I-O Psychology. I believe in " ACTION PACK" teaching! I know most people get bored quick so I use visual aids and body movement. To remember what you learned the mind needs theater performances. Acting out certain lessons helps integrate the knowledge. I did attend a performing arts school for two years and believe in the power of the imagination.
