About Riley

For the past 9 years, I have dedicated myself to teaching ESL to High School and College students. During this time, I have successfully taught between 150 and 200 learners, each with unique strengths and challenges.

My passion for education motivates me to create lessons that are clear, structured, and meaningful. I focus on developing strong communication skills, including speaking, writing, reading, and listening. I believe English should be practical and useful in real-life situations, not just limited to textbooks.

One important milestone in my career has been helping students improve their academic performance and gain confidence in public speaking. Many of my students have achieved higher exam scores and participated actively in presentations and interviews.

I always aim to create a safe and encouraging learning environment. Students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas. I provide step-by-step guidance and regular feedback to ensure steady progress.

Teaching allows me to make a positive impact on students’ lives. I am committed to supporting my learners with patience, encouragement, and strong dedication. My mission is to help students become confident English speakers who are ready to achieve their dreams.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology is student-centred, practical, and confidence-building. I focus on helping students communicate effectively by using real-life examples and case studies from academic, professional, and everyday settings. Students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing through interactive activities such as role plays, discussions, and writing exercises.

Motivation is key to my approach. I provide positive reinforcement and track progress to keep students engaged. When challenges arise, I use problem-solving techniques to identify weak areas and simplify explanations. Integrity guides my teaching, and I provide honest, constructive feedback in every session.

Flexibility allows me to modify lessons according to the student’s pace and goals. Alongside ESL, I also teach vocabulary building, grammar fundamentals, academic communication, and interview preparation.
