Kris tailors his lessons to exactly what you want. Every lesson is fun and hard and it feels like I leave each time with a whole new skill to practice. He is so knowledgeable, approachable, creative, supportive, flexible, kind and is such an immediate friend. He also manages to balance professionalism and familiarity perfectly. It is really obvious that he loves music in all its shapes and forms. He is helping me learn strumming, fingerpicking, chords, music theory, safe posture to ensure musical longevity, AND has helped me buy my own instrument. Kris has taken my goals very seriously and we jam together a little during every lesson which really brings the learning to life! I greatly enjoy our time together and appreciate all I have learned and continue to learn from him. I truly couldn't recommend Kris' lessons more!

Kris is a knowledgeable and skilled teacher. Kris is so patient, kind, understanding and really just wants to see the little musician in you thrive in happiness! He’s great at explaining movements and sounds and rhythms in various ways to make sure your understand. I highly recommend him for people of any age who want to pick up the guitar and tickle the strings.

Kris and I met through social media after I shared some questions regarding my application to music school. We met up for a coffee and he agreed to help me out. What I like about Kris is that he is a very professional and serious teacher, but still very approachable, friendly and caring. He is able to motivate and push you to achieve your ambitions, but he always does from a kind and understanding place. During this process, I improved so much on the technical aspects like ear training, music theory and musicality, but I’ve also gained so much confidence in my craft. He’s a very good teacher, but ultimately, an amazing human being. I could not recommend him enough!
